Our Belief about Water Baptism

We affirm the public and symbolic nature of Baptism. Since the early church, Christians recognized baptism as the first step of obedience in their new life in Christ. When Christians are baptized, they use this act as a symbol to express what has already taken place in their life when they repented of their sins and placed their faith in Christ for salvation. It was assumed everyone who became a Christian would want to be baptized as quickly as possible. We believe in complete Water Submersion Baptism for those old enough that have willfully and knowingly accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
